Cellular

This design was inspired by human blood cells. Under a microscope, the organic texture of cells is apparent. Looking at magnified cells, inspiration was pulled from their dotted texture and flowing shapes. To achieve the organic nature of cells, the elements of this textile design were first rendered using watercolor paints.
