Stained Glass Lily
Designed for the Apparel and Textile Design Pop-Up Fashion Show, this garment was inspired by the water lily and Westminster Abbey. Allison was inspired by the stained glass windows of Westminster Abbey and how they gave the building transparency and color. A water lily parallels Westminster Abbey by being the pop of color floating on transparent water. Her design includes vinyl to mimic these transparent qualities. In addition, Allison's design transforms from a short skirt to a long gown to embody the blooming of the flower.

Ivy Covered Halls
Designed for the 2018 MSU Branding Fashion Design Competition. This competition challenged students to be inspired by Michigan State University. Allison used the MSU Alma Mater, MSU Shadows, specifically the line "O'er ivy covered halls" for her source of inspiration. This garment was constructed out of paper and moss. Allison also hand constructed each flower out of paper and stamped the petals with the letters "MSU."
